After returning home last week, all I wanted to do was jump in my 104 degree Sundance Hot Tub and soothe my aching body and when I opened it I saw error messages were flashing and the temperature was 78. While Royal Pools was super busy with pool opening season, Kevin Cook and Erika Murphy found a way to send the incredible technician Kevin Palmer and his assistant Mike Alexander to trouble-shoot, replace the heater pump and drain and refill the spa. I been utilizing Royal Pool and Spa for the last three years. I purchased a Hot Tub without any issues Gary and Honey walked my wife though the process without any issues. On a weekly basis I have my pool and spa water tested by Lesly who is a charm love dealing with her. She always smiling and always has the answer to any questions that I might have. In addition to Lesly I have had the opportunity to interact with Julius, Danielle and Shannon, all who are also knowledgeable in balancing my spa and or pool. Lastly I only negative encounter was with the older gentlemen with the long white beard in the parts section where he had sold me the wrong pump for my spa and then accused me switching it out. I respectfully had to remind the gentleman that there was video in addition to the handwritten notes which he kept in a spiral notebook. Even with all the reminding I literally had to go back to my residence a pull out the damage pump to show him that it was the wrong pump. Royal has done an excellent job with fixing repeated problems with our above ground pool pump and filter. Kudos to customer service rep Kelli Bailey and lead pool technician Austin - they are both outstanding! Our pump stopped working at the start of the season, and Kelli was extremely efficient about placing the order for the new pump asap and scheduling Austin to install it at the earliest opportunity. The replacement pump also developed some problems, and Austin was skilled at diagnosing and fixing the problem. The Kelli and Austin team was wonderful about getting on the case right away and enabling us to continue to use the pool with as few interruptions as possible during the summer, despite very repeated technical problems with the pump that were beyond anyone's control. I am sure all the others at the office are equally efficient, but I am highlighting Kelli and Austin, and Austin's technical assistant, as they are the ones with whom I have interacted directly. It has not been easy to work with the company's customer service in years past, but Kelli has raised the quality bar tremendously, and it is now a real pleasure to work with the company. Kelli is efficient, pleasant, and courteous and working with her takes away much of the disappointment and frustration of dealing with broken equipment! Less

We just bought a hot tub from Royal Pools and Spas in Newburgh!! We’ve been thinking about, dreaming about, and researching hot tubs for years and finally decided on Royal Pools and spas because of their long history in the area. In the Newburgh location, we worked with Jason Needham, the store manager. Wow, what an awesome, helpful, knowledgeable, straight-shooting, friendly person. He didn’t pressure us in any way but he happily answered all of our (1 million plus) questions. We went in thinking we wanted one particular model of hot tub (the Montclair by Sundance) but Jason helped us understand that that one might not be the best option for us. The main reason for that is my husband just over 6 feet tall - Jason took a look at him and told us the Montclair had a “petite lounger” that might be a little cramped for my husband. The main reason we want the hot tub is to help with my husband’s back so we DEFINITELY don’t want him to be cramped. We settled on the same manufacturer (Sundance) but the Bristol model instead, and would have been very disappointed with the Montclair had it not been for Jason’s help. We’ve done a lot of shopping and research so we knew the price was fair. We were really happy to learn that the steps, cover and cover lifter are all part of the package. We applied for financing right in the store, and received 0% interest for 48 months. Delivery should be within 6-8 weeks. We couldn’t be more excited!!! The two techs who came to our house to close our Sundance Spas Edison Hot Tub were excellent. They closed the tub on a cold day and they were super efficient. The tub was emptied within 20 minutes and they were extremely thorough in vacuuming out all of the water, blowing all the lines clean and adding the winterizer to the tub. While they were working they answered all of my questions and left the area neat and clean. I would definitely have them work here again as their work exceeded my expectations for speed and detail. I bought an above ground Oval 21x41 Doughboy from Royal Pool & Spas about 25 years ago. To date, I had never had a problem with the pool or any of it's parts. Unfortunately, this past winter took a toll on my liner and ice ripped it beyond repair. I recently bought a new liner from Royal and I only hope I could get another 25 years, (if I'm lucky to be around) from it. This is a great pool company. Installed radiant oxygen pool last summer. Love it no chemicals. This year we purchased a heater from them. It arrived within 2 weeks. I had electrician doing the work for the heater and realized I needed pool company to come and install it to pool. As busy as they are right now they came the following day to help me. Very helpful. I needed to buy a new filter. I went to four different places (Rockland and Orange) to get help and answers to questions. I received no help from some, and confused looks from others. It must haven taken between 6-8 visits to different places. I got nowhere. I finally found Royal and my questions were all answered and filter purchased within 15 minutes. Very helpful and friendly. Royal Pools built my in ground pool many years ago. They did a great job. Initially they opened and closed at the pool each year but we did the maintenance. Their lab was always accurate, and their instructions excellent. Eventually, after many years, we needed regular maintenance. Initially they did not serve my area, so I had the experience of using another company, which was a disaster. Eventually to my great relief Royal Pools extended their service area, and I have now been using their maintenance service for many years. They are just wonderful.For more than 20 years with Royal Pools we have had only outstanding service. Presently I deal with Debi and Jose, and they are great.After more than 15 years of use I needed a new vinyl liner. Royal Pools installed at the new liner after saving the water in above ground pools, and pumping it back into my pool. It was amazing.Over the years I have had occasion to use other labs and service providers, and found that only Royal Pools was always reliable. You can't go wrong with them. Less

I have a 20 X 32 inground pool and have been using Royal Pools service for 20 years. They are reliable, reasonably priced and do excellent work. They open and close my pool every year. I have had them install a new liner, pump, filter and heater. I particularly like their weekly cleaning service. Less

We just had our first pool put in by Royal Pools and Spas and the support and customer service that we have received has been incredible! The team members that we have dealt with have been extraordinary. We had an issue with our filter when it was first installed and I didn't realize until after the service department had closed so I sent an email. That same night at 9pm Beth called me and walked me through what to do. In addition, someone was at my house my 9 am the next morning to repair the issue and to go over the system with me. I give Royal a four star because of one person in particular who was very responsive, attentive and addressed my issue in which I finally received resolution. Her name is Cindy. I called and left a message regarding a billing issue I had. She returned my call the same day and told me that she would look into the matter. Within about a half an hour or so, she call me back as she promised and informed me that the issue was resolved. I was grateful for the prompt response and feedback.
